Glasgow Rangers Striker Arrives
2nd February 2010
Lincoln City have bolstered their depleted striking
options by signing a hot prospect from Glasgow Rangers.
Today, a loan move for Rangers' Steven Lennon has been
finalised and he could make his debut against Hereford
United tonight.
Lennon is a 21-year-old who was highly-rated at Rangers
due to his prolific goal scoring feats at Under-19 level.
It was these exploits that saw him make three first team
substitute appearances for Rangers before the 2006/07
season ended.
Unfortunately, his progress as a first teamer at Rangers
has stalled and he spent part of the 2008/09 season on
loan at Partick Thistle where he failed to score in nine
appearances.
Lennon, who can also play as a midfielder, will remain on
loan at Lincoln until the end of the season.
