The Stoke City Moment Not Top

For the past few weeks, TFI has been directing you to vote in the Football League's poll to find fans' favourite League Cup moment in the competition's 50 year history.

Picked for the top fifty moments was Lincoln City for their victory over Stoke City in the 1975/76 season's competition. Sadly, despite many Imps' fans voting, the Stoke City moment did not win. However, out of 50, it was ranked 27th, which I think is extremely creditable considering our fanbase against the much bigger clubs on the list.

The winning moment was Dennis Tueart's spectacular winning goal for Manchester City against Newcastle United in the 1976 League Cup Final
